Understanding the order lifecycle helps both photographers and clients navigate the BuyPhoto.shop experience smoothly.
1. Access via Shared Link
A client (link user) accesses photos through a secure link shared by the photographer. If password-protected, the password is sent via a separate method.
2. Photo Selection & OTP Verification
Clients select the photos they wish to order and begin the checkout process. An OTP is sent to verify the client’s email and convert them into a verified user.
3. Invoice Generation
Once photos are selected, an invoice is created and sent. The client uses payment instructions provided by the photographer to make the payment.
4. Payment Confirmation
The photographer manually confirms the payment and updates the order status to “Confirmed.” If auto-delivery is enabled, the system sends download links automatically.
5. Delivery & Completion
Orders can be digital (auto-dispatched by the system or manually by the photographer) or physical (manually delivered by the photographer). Once fulfilled, the order is marked as “Completed.”
Tip for Clients: Always check your spam folder if you don’t receive confirmation emails.
